Connecting Minds, Celebrating Tradition & Advancing Science

The MBL Alumni Association celebrates, connects, and engages the global community of scientists, scholars, students, and staff who contribute to the  MBL's rich tradition of discovery and education. Whether as course participants, instructors, researchers, faculty or visiting scientists, MBL alumni embody a legacy of collaboration, curiosity, and scientific excellence.

The MBL Alumni Association fosters lifelong relationships among those who have spent time at the MBL in any capacity. While Stoney beach sunsets and long chats over shared meals at Swope may have originally brought this group together, it is the individual relationships that were made in these settings that will keep the MBL spirit alive far beyond the Woods Hole campus. As members of this diverse and distinguished network, alumni drive a dynamic exchange of ideas across disciplines, geographies, and generations. The Association supports professional growth, promotes continued involvement with the MBL community, and champions the transformative impact MBL plays in the lives of scientists and in the broader scientific enterprise.
