2024 Summer Camp

We are excited to once again partner with WHOI to hold a YMCA Summer Camp. Similar to last year, both Satellite and Periwinkle groups will be on the MBL Campus. The Satellite group (ages 7-12) will be at the MBL club and Periwinkle group (ages 4-6) will be in a cottage at Memorial Circle. Camp will begin on Monday, June 24, 2024, and continue through Friday, August 30, 2024. The program will operate Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM with extended day hours to cover 7:30 AM to 5:30 PM. Families will be able to sign up for one or more weeks of summer camp at a time. Registration will open this Thursday, February 1st, at 5pm! Click here to access the YMCA site and register your child(ren). Please see this MBL Intranet post for registration passcode (authorized users only).

The cost per child is:

  • $425/week; YMCA members will receive a 10% discount.
  • AM Extended Care = $31/week
  • PM Extended Care = $31/week
  • AM & PM Extended Care Combined = $52/week

Children’s School of Science

In addition, we are excited to share that this year campers will again have an opportunity to register for the Children’s School of Science morning sessions running from 8:30 am - 10:15 am daily Monday through Friday. Session A of camp will begin July 1, 2024 and will continue until July 19, 2024. Session B will run from July 22nd through August 8th. Children must be at least 7 years old to register for classes. Once the morning session has ended, a staff member from the Children’s School of Science will walk students who are also enrolled in the YMCA camp down to campus. Please note that the coordination between the YMCA camp and Children's School of Science classes is only for those taking the 8:30-10:15 class at CSS. Field trips with the YMCA will accommodate the late arrivals, and CSS staff can only guarantee availability to walk with the students at 10:15.

Registration for this camp will open February 12, 2024. For more information and to register your child please click here.
