The MBL community was invited to open labs on Sept. 11 and 12 to see what the University of Chicago September Term students had discovered this year!
Students engage with the rich scientific Woods Hole environment on a range of topics. From biodiversity and species distribution to microbiology and imagery, students develop new skills in the lab and the field. The students include both humanities and science majors, and some delve into the history of the life sciences.
The slideshow below gives glimpses of the students’ final presentations. Check back here for information to apply for 2026.
