Josh Rosenthal

MBL Senior Scientist Joshua Rosenthal has received a grant from the National Science Foundation to establish a core facility for genome editing at the Marine Biological Laboratory (MBL). The grant will provide instrumentation (three microinjection rigs) to enable MBL resident and visiting scientists, faculty and students to perform genome editing studies on embryos from diverse marine organisms. The core facility, to be housed in the Marine Resources Center, will support the MBL’s strategic aim of creating genetically tractable marine model organisms to catalyze novel research in marine biology.
