The Microbiome Center: A Home for Interdisciplinary Microbial Knowledge

The Microbiome Center is an intellectual home for scientists and physicians from University of Chicago, Marine Biological Laboratory, and Argonne National Laboratory who are studying microbes in a wide range of environments, from the human gut to beneath the ocean floor. Understanding microbial activity affects endeavors from medicine and surgery to climate change science. The Microbiome Center encourages coordinated, interdisciplinary research to accelerate fundamental knowledge of the microbiome in all fields.
