Congratulations to microscopy developer Ibrahim Cissé, who has been named a 2021 MacArthur Fellow. Cissé, a biological physicist, served on the faculty of the MBL Physiology course in 2021, 2019 and 2017 and is a member of the MBL's Imaging Steering Committee. These prestigious MacArthur awards are "unrestricted fellowships to talented individuals who have shown extraordinary originality and dedication in their creative pursuits and a marked capacity for self-direction." Read more about Cissé here.
